MISSION: The mission of the Preschool and Children’s Ministry at Hampton Road Baptist Church is to join with families to love and educate children in such a way that they desire to become faithful disciples of Christ. Our Preschool Ministry is the first step to Jesus. Our trained, loving teachers plan and prepare wonderful lessons that teach biblical truths about God and His Son Jesus. During the week, our preschoolers learn about reaching out to others in a safe environment through Mission Friends and worship God through the Preschool Choirs. On Sunday mornings, our classes explore the Bible using Lifeway’s Bible Teaching for Kids Sunday School curriculum, during the worship service the children continue to explore their lesson during extended session.
