Loving, professional staff work to provide a wide variety of age-appropriate activities and experiences that encourage students to grow in critical thinking, problem solving, conflict resolution, and empathy for others. Spiritual formation occurs in part through Bible lessons, songs and corporate chapel times, with a biblical worldview being integrated throughout all curricular areas. Touch, sight, taste and smell are an important part of the learning process, and there are plenty opportunities for hand/eye coordination as well as exercising muscles on the playground or covered indoor play areas. An elementary education at Cascade Christian provides strong academics in the basics of reading, language arts, and mathematics, as well as a solid foundation in social studies and science, all taught from the perspective of a biblical worldview. Art, music, physical education, computer, and athletics are also a part of the curricular process, during and after regular school hours. Various classroom activities, weekly chapels, and other school events provide students with opportunities for creativity, service, and leadership development.
