Saint Clement Episcopal School began in 1952 as a preschool operated by the Church of Saint Clement primarily for children of the parish. Over the years, the school expanded to serve community children through the second grade. In about 1980 the school's first and second grades were discontinued and the school offered half-day preschool and junior kindergarten classes.
