Our mission, since the inception in 1990, is to be an outreach ministry to the children and families of our church and community. This is accomplished by providing a safe, caring, loving environment that is rich in Biblical principles, moral values, and developmentally appropriate activities, which stimulate a child's social, emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual growth. At First United Methodist Church Preschool we believe that each child is a unique and special gift from God. Children should be loved and encouraged at all levels of development and provided with an environment that promotes self-confidence, social skills, language development, Christian values, and an opportunity to grow in knowledge of the world around them.
