The little red schoolhouses' history is also noteworthy - built as a shed to store outdoor toys and vehicles used on the playground, it was intended to send a message that the Preschool was a real school in the midst of our crowded community - thereby it was made to look like an old-fashioned school house by putting on a cupola with a real bell in it and painting the building red.
