It shall be the mission of Temple Beth Tikvah to create an authentic Jewish community. To achieve this, Temple Beth Tikvah shall: * provide religious services and spiritual sustenance to all Jews consistent with the tenets and practices of modern Reform Judaism * provide Jewish education and cultural experiences to children from the preschool years through Confirmation * provide post Confirmation continuing Jewish education and cultural experiences to all who seek them * provide social settings for the children and adults of the congregation so a sense of community is created * reach out to the unaffiliated Jews in the greater community * develop a caring community through sharing the joys of life cycle events and reaching out to members of the congregation with special needs - Jews by choice, non-Jewish spouses, the elderly, single parents, unmarrried adults, young adults in colleges and universities - and to provide support services in anticipation of crises as well as in time of crisis for members.
